Fergus Coyle is a game writer and narrative designer hailing from Glasgow, Scotland.
After working as a programmer for 4 years, he moved to Vancouver to pursue his passion of video game storytelling and never looked back. He has since worked on AAA games and independent projects, applying the perspective of being both a writer and a systems storyteller. Novels tell stories in prose, music tells stories with notes, and games tell stories between a player and systems.
His experience as both a writer and software developer gives him a strong perspective, not just in weaving together traditional narrative principles and interactive systems, but also in working as part of a technical team to precisely communicate and achieve a collaborative goal.
